Completed by Facebook intern Paul Butler, this infographic shows the connections between 10 million friends in different countries.
I really think that this shows more that Facebook connections. If you look at Australia, only the coasts are lit up as the rest of the country is not inhabited greatly. And if you look at Africa, a lot of it is not lit up as people are obviously too poor or do not have a internet connection.
This is quite a simple analysis as not everyone on Facebook has been included in the data for this infograghic, but information can still be obtained.
